Costa Rica has become one of the most important destinations for ecotourism worldwide. The natural beauty is the most important attraction that our country has to offer tourists, and are the foundation for competitiveness in the global tourism industry, so we built the Monteverde Trainforest.
The Trainforest is a smaller-scale replica of an old train, but created with all current electronic aid, thereby ensuring the safety of our customers.
This will take you through the Monteverde cloud forest by a guided tour in their cars, where you can observe the majestic Arenal Volcano and the beautiful forest with a great diversity of fauna and flora, while specially trained guides explain the beauty that visitors are encountered during the trip.
This tour has a distance of 6 miles, 40% in open areas and 60% in areas of cloud forest, passing through four bridges and a tunnel with a length of about 90 minutes. The destination is a viewpoint from which you can see the lagoon and the Arenal Volcano and Monteverde reserves and other natural wonders.
The Trainforest is suitable for all types of people, from children to adults and people with physical limitations. Our project is to meet the need of complementary activities to those already existing in Monteverde, thus ensuring greater satisfaction for our visitors to share and enjoy with family.
